Shannon
Shannon's has always had a love for horses from her earliest memory. She has a gift for seeing raw talent and hidden qualities, enjoying nothing more than seeing each horse reach its full potential.
Shannon is an empathetic and insightful trainer and believes each horse and rider is an individual. She is dedicated to providing individualized programs to help each pair build trust and find their inner strength and confidence.

Our Mission
SMV Equestrian is a hunter jumper and foxhunting facility with a mission to breed, source, and develop exceptional sport horses. We pride ourselves on our dedication to producing top-notch equestrian athletes that embody the spirit of class and performance. We have a passion for finding and creating that ideal match between horse and rider and helping to foster those relationships.
We are based out of Bluemont Belle Farm owned by the Dorcon Group. This lovely farm provides a picturesque and serene environment for our horses to learn and grow.
We are 40min from DC and nearby to the Upperville show grounds, multiple hunt clubs, and more.
